After tearing his achilles not even a full year ago, James Wiseman played 16 straight minutes last night. 3 minutes to close the 3rd quarter and the entire 4th quarter. You know what I saw,
@C2_Cooper? I saw a guy, who you constantly say has poor conditioning to anyone within earshot, constantly dust his man up and down the floor for his entire 16 minutes on the floor. I saw his teammates constantly get wide open 3s just from him running the floor or diving to the rim. I saw him prevent drives in transition from him sprinting back. I saw Johnny Juzang shoot 6-9 from the floor & 2 of his 3 misses came off a Wiseman contested 3 and a Wiseman block at the rim. I saw Wiseman dust a younger and athletic 19 year old down the floor after playing 8 straight minutes, which allowed him to be in position for an offensive rebound and putback. I saw someone that you said had poor condition all last year during his brief stint and just as recently as 2 weeks ago on a podcast, be the last guy to tap out of a conditioning drill during camp. According to the Pacers broadcast, he was one of the last 2 people to last in that drill. Those are the things that I saw, Caitlin. You saw an exhibit 10 guy constantly get beat in the half court and lost in transition and decided to tweet about positioning & #11 not being able to clean up his shit.
Keep stacking days, practices, and games, James.
