I have received training in Canada, Texas, Oman, Bahrain, and UAE. Every class ALWAYS plays a Work Safe BC video. And today in Saudi during my Hazard Awareness class of course the instructor played a Work Safe BC video. Congrats WSBC, you are world famous. #worksafebc #safety

Great news with the Oliver Archives using solar panels to lower its carbon emissions... but... wait... what? Why are the installers clearly 10 feet of the ground with no Fall Protection. Not sure the nice safety vests will help them in a fall. Come on people. Let’s do better.

This is an unfortunate truth. Often a result of a “get er done” attitude. We all need to take a step back and apply basic safety rules to our work. There is a balance. Can get a job done on time or ahead of schedule and in a safe manner. #safety #construction

Great initiative by these fire departments. Confined Space engulfment can happen in grain bins, at pulp mills, quarry’s... anywhere one can be trapped beneath a liquid or fine flowing solid. Sadly the Withrow, AB farm deaths are reminder of the dangers. #safety #confinedspace

Nice job Lufthansa. Waiting for my flight from Frankfurt to Dammam, Saudi and watched ground crew work on the tail of a 747. They had a spotter, delineators put out, outriggers deployed, tied off, and wearing correct PPE. #safety

Good info on lung carcinogens. I often see construction workers not wearing at the minimum respirators during the demo phase of renovations. Chronic lung diseases are the number one reason for workplace fatalities in B.C. #safety #asbestos #Canada
