Is Nintendo Bold enough to go against Rockstar?!

Taking pause to all of the hype. This Nintendo Direct really emphasized something that I feel some people are failing to understand when it comes to this Nintendo situation right now. When you take a look at their overall catalog of what they already have and what's coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, you'll quickly realize that there is no other platform where you have access to such a variety of quality 3rd party and 1st party titles. You'll see people making jokes and comments about games that have been released for a few years that are just now coming to the Switch 2. But, that's the point. Nintendo is literally making it to where these studios are bringing all of your favorite games to this console. Now, add on top of the announcements that we just saw today, like Ocarina of Time, Kingdom Hearts IV, plus other 1st and 3rd party titles arriving on the Switch 2, and then you look at the price of the Switch 2 .... It's just impossible for me to see myself playing anywhere else. 🤷🏾‍♂️

The main difference between Nintendo direct and these summer showcases is that Nintendo has been on a run releasing an original game pretty much every month. They announce stuff whenever they feel like it. We are expected to receive another direct in September where we will be learning about even more games. Not to mention with the accessibility of the switch 2 hardware most of these upcoming AAA releases will also be coming to switch 2. At the end of the day play where you want too. In a perfect world I would like all games to be released everywhere.

OOC was one of the first games that really captivated me as a child. I can remember being so young that I accidentally deleted my brothers save file when he was on the last fight with Ganon. It's so cliche to say but this game really made me a gamer. I am so excited to pick this up to not only see the new life they bring to the game but to share the story with my children.

Ocarina of Time remake will sell more consoles than gears of war E day will.

I am not here to crush dreams I just want you all to be aware of what kind of money you can expect from Kick Partner Pay. For context this was a Multistream ( pay was cut 50%) with about 30 viewers and an active chat. While reaching partner status and getting paid by kick is a goal I see many creators dream of reaching the reality is that unless you are a creator that is generating at least 100- 150 viewers/ Chatters a stream you will be making way less than minimum wage barely anything you could live on. Now I could hear it already " but 95/5 and kicks can generate more wealth and ads are coming." Yes 95% of a sub revenue is great but that requires people to sub. Which in this economy should not be expected from anyone. Same with kicks. During the time of writing this currently there is no ad revenue on kick. Maybe I am an outlier in this. Maybe I just have a bad rate. It's possible. But I don't bot and I have a very engaged chat who donates when they can. So why am I writing this? I want to encourage streamers who have been putting blood sweat and tears into streaming that maybe the grass is not always greener on the other side. I know this because I pushed so hard to hit verified and partnered on many occasions. This is not the same partner pay from a year and a half ago it is pennies. This is encouragement to continue to not only grow on platforms like kick but to push your content on other places to earn revenue. At the end of the day I want to see creators succeed and success comes from not getting burnt out over pennies on the dollar.
