A focused consultation on Chelmsford's draft Local Plan begins today.
The Local Plan is reviewed every five years to make sure future growth across the district continues to evolve in a sustainable way, and that development is responsibly planned.
This focused consultation is a chance to share your thoughts on proposed changes to ensure a supply of new homes for the first five years of the plan to help meet the Governmentβs increased housing needs target.
The focused consultation is open now and will run until Thursday 8 January.
You can read the proposals on the council's website or visit one of our upcoming public exhibitions.
