Brendan Harshberger, of our phenomenal Drug Checking Los Angeles team, testified yesterday at the CA Senate in support of AB-2136, a bill that would more fully legalize drug checking in California. It passed to the judiciary!

Testified in Public Safety Committee yesterday in support of AB-2136. It passed to appropriations.
The bill would protect both providers and participants in drug checking. Important step for scaling up drug checking as a harm reduction and public health strategy.
Yesterday was great day to be in Sacramento -- after committee, got to hang out w/ friends and collaborators in town for the harm reduction and sex worker rights rallies at the Capitol.
