On This Day in 1898 the half timbered pavilion was officially opened at Chesterfield @Chesterfield_CC – the cost was £499.
It was renovated in 1921 and extended in 1936 with more work carried out in the 1970s and more recently - @DerbyshireCCC have played over 500 matches here...
