This warehouse supports @PenUkraine's extraordinary efforts to supply libraries on the front lines with books through their #UnbreakableLibraries project. Its damage from a Russian missile is yet another example of the war’s devastating impact on Ukrainian culture.
This is a book depository in Kyiv where we store English and bilingual books for local libraries in frontline areas. It was damaged during massive Russian missile strike. Around 11,000 books were inside at the time of the attack. The ceiling collapsed, windows shattered. (1/4)
