According to @paschutz of @nbcchicago, the proposed Lost Marsh site for The #Bears may not have enough space for a Bears stadium.
Records from the US Army Corps of Engineers states the land has a 50 year easement, which calls for no develops during that period within the 330 acre golf course.
This means that the area would not be ready till the 2050's (Built in 2000's).
Still other sites in the area, but not good news for one of the proposed sites.

Sweat still put up solid numbers, and now having a year in DA's scheme, I expect big numbers

UPDATE: Per @nbcchicago, Rep. Dan Ugaste from Geneva is proposing a new plan to help keep The #Bears in IL, which includes lowering property taxes.
"This entire debacle has exposed the serious flaws in our property tax system. My legislation will help keep the Bears in Illinois while lowering property taxes for everyone."
The big concern in all this has been protecting the IL taxpayer. Sounds like Rep. Ugaste is onto something. 👀

And we have him for 4 more years on his rookie contract (Including his 5th year option)
Colston Loveland was a huge part of the #Bears top-10 offense in '25, thanks to his top-3 ranking amongst rookie TEs.
