🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨 Be very careful if these guys, @BlockLayerPods, reach out to you via DM asking to do a podcast. It's a major phishing operation attempting to infect users with malware and gain access to wallets, accounts, and devices. > They DM random people out of nowhere, claiming they want to interview them for their "big podcast." > Once you reply, they build trust and eventually send links, Zoom calls, or files designed to install malware. > The malware is used to drain wallets, steal credentials, or take control of your computer. > They rebranded from an earlier scam called Web3Unchained, which reportedly stole over $100,000 using the exact same tactics. > Most of their episodes appear to be fake. They steal audio clips, edit them together, and multiple "guests" have stated they were never actually on the show. > Their website contains lorem ipsum placeholder text and suspicious job links. > They also have backup accounts ready to go (such as @BeaconLayerPod). > The entire operation appears to be run by a small group using bot accounts with NFT PFPs. I've had a lot of people reach out asking if this is legitimate, and they are 100% a scam. Stay far away, and please help spread the message. I'd hate to see more people get burned by this.

This illuminated Boxed Kabu astronaut stopped me in my tracks. Had to grab it immediately. When I did purchase this one, I didn't care what state @kabuxyz was in.Not because I think it's an easy sale. Not because it's a beautiful piece of art. Though it absolutely is. It reminded me of my brothers, @Cafesuadaddy69 and @AryanKarvani Back when the space felt different. When everyone was high on possibility. When familiar PFPs kept showing up. Long nights in Discord voice chats, OG group chats, and hosting Spaces together. Both of them rocked the robot Kabu connected to the charge cords in the astronaut suit. To me, that was always one of the hardest trait combinations in the collection. This Kabu reminds me of the friendships we've built. The conversations before mint and after mint. The memories, the laughs, and the genuine love we share for this space. More than anything, it reminds me that relationships are the real collectibles. Art catches our attention. Community keeps us here.

A lot of you are probably realizing now that there's only a finite amount of liquidity and a relatively small pool of people actively trading NFTs. That's why everything feels like a game of hot potato right now. Most new collections won't hold up when there's a wave of mints launching every single day. As a result, people jump from one thing to the next. There isn't much organic demand outside of the group that's already here. Until we find a meaningful way to onboard new people, that likely won't change. I don't really blame anyone or anything for this. A lot of people are still burnt from previous cycles and hype waves, and they've lost trust in most new mints. They get in, and they get out. Many such cases. There were teams selling out collections for $1M on chains like Abstract just a year ago that are now nowhere to be found. Personally, I'm just a collector. I don't chase hype waves. I buy what appeals to me and what I believe are good teams, and that's really it. Even then, you have to be careful. Some of the most popular people on CT with the biggest audiences were the same ones taking advantage of new chains and running off with people's money. Until we can rebuild trust and attract new eyes to the space, we're going to keep traveling down the hot potato road. Space Riders.
