This is Hon Mavhunga, CCC MP For Chitungwiza! This was an underrated submission, but one of the most constitutionally sound presentations on good governance, separation of power and judicial precedence. ZEC is an independent body that reports to parliament, allowing the registrar to take over is tantamount to parliament accepting failure. He speaks about the mysterious exit of Judge Mushore! How CAB 2 unconstitutionally extended Luke Malaba 's term! How constitutions must never be amended for the incumbent or the mere will of the government. A highly informative and educated submission

These are what we call talking points in a parliamentary debate especially when it comes to a constitutional amendment of the magnitude before parliament. The quality of the speech is excellent not to be told about Trababalas, Skokripiko, and Rodriguez Dozzo nonsense by some of these useless MPs. Well said Hon Joanah Mamombe. After being blamed for being a Tshabangu stooge, today @KarenyiKore vindicated herself. She shocked the house as she resisted the #CAB3 stating that Chikanga residents are not in agreement with the bill and that is not her assignment in parliament. She says her constituency is worried about unemployment, Hunger, corruption and social justice issues. She is an opposition member under Chikanga in Mutare

GET YOUR HEADS EXAMINED…Some people really amaze me. Do you honestly believe that if the Chamisa you constantly gaslight and vilify had agreed to be co-opted by ED, there would have been any need to hire that Chabangu as the manufactured face of a government-sponsored opposition? Do you think they would have needed CAB3 to deal with the fallout from a disputed presidential election? Would CAB3 have been necessary? Do you think they would have spent billions in taxpayers' money buying off individuals, organizations, and institutions, including some within the region, to discredit and destroy the very person they were supposedly working with? Why spend billions of taxpayers' dollars buying influence, recruiting allies, mobilizing institutions and giving cars, to destroy the credibility of someone who was supposedly on your side? Why would an ally cause you sleepless nights. Give us a break! Kwanai! Miswai! The logic simply does not add up. If someone is part of your project, you do not expend enormous resources undermining, isolating, and dismantling them. You do not wage a sustained campaign against an ally. The very existence of these efforts points to entrenched animosity. We’re chalk and cheese, oil and water. We can’t mix! And I’m proud of that record! #TheNew

My Journey with Pool in Masvingo My journey with pool began when we moved to Masvingo in the early 1990s. My mother was employed by the National Railways of Zimbabwe, and after I had finished my education, I found myself with time on my hands. That was when I started learning how to play pool. I would spend my time at a place called Apolo, which I believe was owned by Mukeda, one of the people we affectionately called the Amakarari. There, I met many talented players. One of them was a guy with long hair known as Chirasha. If I remember correctly, he worked either at Pelhams or Kwa Khan. My memory is not as sharp as it used to be, but one thing I remember clearly is that he was an excellent player. As time went on, I became friends with another player, a karate enthusiast whose father was a doctor somewhere in Masvingo. He wore glasses, and we spent many hours playing together. Later, we were joined by Henry Makombe, who worked for NetOne. It was around this time that I started taking the game seriously. My love for pool took me to many places around Masvingo. I played regularly at What's Cooking, owned by the late Mdara Beji Ndebele. The place was located opposite Kwa Never, where cars were sold, and next to the offices of Mwonzora and Muzenda Partners, near Beverley Building and opposite OK Zimbabwe. Upstairs was Bosha Book Shop. Those were memorable days. There I played against talented players such as Revai and John Mutswagi. John was especially gifted. He could even play flipper with great skill. Competing against players like these helped sharpen my game and pushed me to improve. As my confidence grew, I became known as a strong player around town. I started playing at Nyashanu in Rujeko with players like Julius Machigere, Tindo, Lovenda, Danny, and George. I would also travel to Majanke and Rixt Night Club, where I played against the likes of Zidane and many other skilled opponents. We spent countless nights around the pool table, competing, learning, and enjoying the game we loved. Before long, I had become a respected player myself. Pool was no longer just a pastime—it had become part of who I was. The friendships, rivalries, and memories I made through the game remain some of the most treasured moments of my life. Even today, I am still going strong. The passion for pool has never left me. Masvingo will always be my second home. I still remember Mdara Mavaire jokingly saying, "Mndebere, tichatokupa mukadzi kuno." Those words always make me smile. To the people of Masvingo, thank you for the memories, the friendships, and the lessons. The city gave me so much, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. Masvingo hoye! I love you all.

What is surreal is that there are pple here who supported ZANU PF and even threatened me with death who are today anti CAB3, and there are those whom we chanted opposition slogans with who are now pro-CAB3. My enemies are now my allies while my former friends are now my nemesis. The beauty of it is that l just walk my path. Those who push in my direction automatically become allies. One struggle Parallel efforts. The goal doesn't change- a free, democratic and prosperous Zimbabwe. Trust only yourself and leave room for failure & disappointment. Let's keep marching even when the odds are tough.... Constant resistance!

The arguments about the CCC constitution and structures are hypocritical to the core and I fully agree with the leadership of @nelsonchamisa on this matter - for the following reasons - 1. Never mind the public truth that, to contest elections, CCC had to submit a constitution to ZEC and the constitution was submitted by @JMafume, Ian Makone and Ellen Shiriyedenga- the hypocrisy is that we are all crying that #NOTOED2030 is violating the national constitution, the supreme law of the land, but somehow the same people argue that the CCC constitution was supposed to stop him from hijacking the party using an imposter. Let's stop these lies and work together for common interest. If a constitution can stop ED, then why should @nelsonchamisa do anything about CAB3? 2. If a constitution can do all this that you are saying it should have done for President Nelson Chamisa, why is it not doing it for the people of Zimbabwe. i.e why is the supreme Zimbabwe constitution not stopping #NOTOED2030 from hijacking the whole country this time? 3. You all did not fight in defence of the CCC because you felt it was "Chamisa’s problem". No, it was a violation of the core principles of our constitutional democracy. The parliament passing this Bill and the poor opposition to the Bill is a direct result of Zimbabweans failing and neglecting to defend Nelson Chamisa and the CCC party. It is not Nelson Chamisa who needs CCC, it is the nation that needs multi-party democracy. This was not a matter for Nelson Chamisa alone. We should now learn the lesson of our mistake. 4. We should not accept people in our society who want Nelson Chamisa to fight for them without support. He is our leader but not the Messiah, we ought to support him and fight together. We should never blame him for our own inaction. 5. It is not true that President Nelson Chamisa did nothing about the 2023 election theft and CCC hijack. We all know that -  (a) there was a collective understanding that going to Court would produce the same 2018 Con Court result and therefore futile. (b) President Nelson Chamisa is still frantically fighting the 2023 fraud. As late as May 2026 he has been in constant consultations and engagements with SADC on this matter. He has written to all SADC heads of state on numerous occasions. Evidence of all this is available. (c) he dispatched envoys everywhere in SADC and abroad to pursue the matter of the stolen election riding on the SADC SEOM report. (d) he left the CCC as a sign of discontent with the hijacking of the people's party. i.e he has done and is doing everything a leader should do. 6. What did the other constitutionalists do when the election was stolen and when CCC party was hijacked? What did those in ZANU-PF fighting CAB3 do when this blatant violation happened? What did the war veterans who fought for one man one vote do? What did we do? 7. Where do we even get the moral high-ground to remember that there is a constitution and to demand collective action when at other critical points of blatant constitutional violations we clapped and ululated for the abuser? 8. My point is that we cannot move together on the basis of lies and hypocrisy. We cannot fight CAB3 in isolation to the fraud that took place in 2023 elections. We should reverse that because it was done to enable this new fraud. Why are allowing and choosing frauds? 9. If we want to promote democracy and constitutionalism in our country we cannot be hypocritical and pick and choose moments as we like. We cannot say CAB3 is worse than removing duly elected people’s representatives and denying millions of Zimbabweans a voice in parliament. 10. @nelsonchamisa remains the only genuine uncompromised leader. He has always fought and defended the constitution without picking and choosing moments whether or not they are politically favourable to him. We want genuine constitutionalism. When a violation happens, we should all rise as a nation without choosing.
IT WAS ALL ABOUT ED POWER GAMES…ED worked with Tshabangu to engineer illegal recalls that ultimately handed ZANU-PF a fraudulent two-thirds parliamentary majority, in clear violation of both the law and democratic principles. Unfortunately, when the recalls began, many failed to recognize that this was part of a long-planned strategy orchestrated by ED. It was never about the claims that the CCC lacked a constitution or formal structures. In Zimbabwe you can not submit party candidates to ZEC without a party constitution. Parliament and Mudenda were in possession of CCC constitution but chose to ignore it on instructions from his Zpf Boss. Those no constitution and nil structures narratives were merely a smokescreen. Some individuals, driven by their disagreements with Nelson Chamisa, celebrated the recalls, unaware that they were in fact celebrating the erosion of democracy and the weakening of our nation. The foundation for the current constitutional amendment agenda was laid in 2023 through those engineered and unlawful recalls. However, all is not lost. The real struggle lies ahead. The task before us is to continue fighting for a Citizens' Government—one that reflects the true will and aspirations of the people of Zimbabwe. The future of our country depends on the determination of its citizens to defend voice, agency and fundamental rights .

PRESIDENT CHAMISA RESPONSE TO A CONCERNED CITIZEN "I understand your frustration. Many Zimbabweans feel the same anger, disappointment, and sense of helplessness when they see institutions that should protect citizens being used to protect those in power. But history teaches us that governments do not derive their strength from the police, the army, or even the law. Their ultimate strength comes from the consent, participation, and cooperation of the people- THE CITIZENS. When citizens lose hope, withdraw from civic engagement, and accept that nothing can change, those in power become even stronger. You are right that elections alone are not enough. Social media alone is not enough. Complaining alone is not enough. But neither is despair a strategy. The challenge before us is to build a stronger, more organized, and more united citizens' movement—one that goes beyond personalities, beyond political parties, and beyond moments of outrage. Sustainable change requires patience, sacrifice, organization, and courage. Many supporters have lost hope because they expected change to come quickly. That disappointment is understandable. But surrendering hope guarantees the very outcome we fear. The fight for democracy, constitutionalism, and accountable leadership is not won in a single election cycle or a single protest. It is won when citizens remain committed, organized, and determined despite setbacks. Zimbabwe belongs to its citizens. The responsibility before us is not to give up, but to find lawful, peaceful, and effective ways to make our collective voice impossible to ignore. And The Citizens shall govern! Ndatenda."

I did quick analysis of the CAB3 from @ParliamentZim, below are the findings Table 3 shows that total physical attendance across the entire country was 54,231 people. Table 4 claims that 67,688 written submissions were collected during those exact same public hearings. This means Parliament collected 13,457 more written documents than actual human beings sitting in the rooms. That is a ratio of 1.25 submissions per attendee or a >124% submission-to-attendance ratio. Harare (3.85x) and Masvingo (2.29x) are the two provinces where submissions vastly exceeded attendees Error 1: the four cells do not sum to the stated total. 229,600 238,362 1,887 4 = 469,853, not 470,117. The table is 264 short of its own stated grand total. Error 2: the "In support" figure disagrees between Table 1 and Table 5.Table 1 implies support = 229,600 238,362 = 467,962. Table 5 states support for this row as 469,040. The gap is 1,078. Working backwards: if Table 5's figure is correct and the yes-without figure of 238,362 is right, then yes-with should be 230,678, not 229,600. Error 3: the "Against" figure disagrees between Table 1 and Table 5. Table 1 implies against = 1,887 4 = 1,891. Table 5 states against for this row as 1,077. The gap is 814. Working backwards: if Table 5 is correct and no-without = 4 is right, then no-with should be 1,073, not 1,887 @freemanchari @advocatemahere @zimlive @Mathuthu
