In 3 of the past 4 seasons, @BaseballUGA Wes Johnson has coached the National Player of the Year. Paul Skenes at LSU ‘23, Charlie Condon Georgia ‘24, and now Daniel Jackson at Georgia’26.

Steve Webber never got the credit he deserved until recently when he went into the Circle of Honor, & the Steve Webber Terrace & Baseball Fund were created. Web was the architect who brought UGA Baseball out of the dark ages including Foley Field.

If Oklahoma beats Kansas which I expect they will then the right side of the bracket will be 100% SEC in Omaha. UGA, Texas, Bama, and Oklahoma all in. Repeat of the SEC tournament where I totally expect the same results that took place in Hoover. Go Dawgs!

DP accomplished tremendous things & at some point will join Web in the Circle of Honor. He dealt with challenges the last few years that no other coach ever did. I was close to Greg at the time but totally disagreed with his decision to remove Dave. CC is lucky to have him!

Just heard on SEC Now that Foley is the # 1 hitting field in the SEC. In addition, 18 more home runs were hit at Foley vs all other parks in the SEC. Thus, I now understand & don’t feel so bad about all the gopher balls I gave up that ended up on Kudzu Hill. Thank you Dari!
