The entire emerging markets ( APAC, Africa & LatAm) Stablecoin market is still just shy of $650m & over 95% of it resides on @ethereum.

The non-usd stablecoin landscape is complex.
On the surface, it may seem that nobody wants them, but adoption is growing quietly.
Transaction volume is building up across regions & liquidity will meet the demand for a variety of applications especially onchain FX.
