✔️stromal retraction (mimics LVI; rarely is actually LVI though)
✔️paradoxical maturation (squamoid/pinker along leading invasive edge)
A patient had weight reduction surgery - the surgeon noted that the liver appeared cirrhotic intra-operatively and biopsied. The etiology was probably metabolic fatty liver disease but once there is cirrhosis, the fat is often absent.
Incidental finding. Resection for met CA CHF hx. Anything striking in alveolar septae imgs?

An unfortunate case of cervical "squamous cell carcinoma" in a female in her early 40s who apparently was never screened. Malignant cells are seen embedded in and surrounded by heavy tumor diathesis. (PAP Test, ThinPrep)

A case of autoimmune gastritis with an "antralized" gastric body, intestinal metaplasia, and a lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate in the lamina propria.
* H. pylori infection can show similar findings, so make sure an H. pylori stain is negative.

Colonic Spirochaetosis. Man with diarrhoea and raised calprotectin but normal endoscopy. Note the fuzzy "pseudo-brush border" highlighted on PAS to the right of the arrow; caused by Brachyspira spirochaetes. Often commensal but may benefit from abx if symptomatic #GIpath
🔬 Gleason pattern 4 prostate adenocarcinoma showing small cribriform glands , a key feature with major prognostic impact. Morphology still drives diagnosis and guides patient care.
