Predictions are still open until the next series because I just finished updating a 10-team double elimination bracket feature. Let me know if you find any bugs. Thanks > chompix.app/dota2/The_Intern…

During OQ#1, Estar backs had parker playing mid which honestly was pretty bad. For this upcoming OQ#2, they are now moving Snufy to the offlane, so let’s wait and see how this plays out for them. #Dota2 #Esports #SADota

The first Open Qualifier for The International 2026 in South America kicked off today, featuring 46 registered teams, a significant decline from previous cycles, where more than 300 teams typically entered before the DPC structure was established. The single-elimination bracket will run through June 9-10, with the top three teams advancing to the Closed Qualifier later this month. South America has one direct slot at The International. So... - Can Parker lead and carry his team through the bracket? or will he rage-quit? - How will the former Clown Crew players perform now that they’re scattered across multiple lineups? - What kind of impact will Accel have on his return following the map-hacking allegations? - How will Snufy adjust to his new role in the mid lane? - Can Pamplona build on his recent strong showings and emerge as an early standout? F - prediction 😆. Team Nemesis was the better team during this qualifier 👏
HOT TAKE: Amaru Gaming will qualify for the Esports World Cup 2026. My gut feeling tells me that PiPi is poised for a monster performance this qualifier. I struggled to choose between Red Hot Chili Pibble (Kotaro & Mnz stack) and Team Nemesis. On one hand, RHCP's players have been actively participating in streamer tournaments, which has likely helped them build character and patience, especially when dealing with 1k MMR teammates. On the other hand, Nemesis has been competing in EU tournaments like the EPL and the 1W Essence series over the past month, even if their performance hasn’t been stellar. This experience, however, provides valuable practice that could be beneficial. While I wouldn’t be surprised if RHCP knocks out Nemesis, I’m leaning toward Nemesis due to their participation in the European competitive tournaments. Then there's Estar Backs, who genuinely seem capable of going all the way in the tournament. As always, Estar Backs either will show a honey moon phase or rely on Parker to dominate the competition 1v9. Slatems, the self-proclaimed best midlaner in the world, has to make sure he stays level-headed and doesn’t tilt himself. With Yadomi on the team, I truly believe we might see Estar Backs make it to the Grand Final. Of course, a safe prediction is that Parker will throw at least one game. 🦇 On another note, Hokori, or the Hong Kong Riders, appeared shaky in their matchup against Perrito Panzon, which doesn’t inspire confidence. I’m not high on them in this qualifier. What do you think? Is Amaru really the clear favorite in this lineup? Last but certainly "not" least, Team DK, Zetta Games, and Chandogs are worth keeping an eye on; they are considered fillers, but they’re dangerous enough to take a map off anyone. #Dota2 #Esports #SADota

While the young players battle for glory inside the arena, one man has already stolen the show on the red carpet. 🇵🇪 Jacho, the 58-year-old owner of Jacho LaN CeNTeR in Villa El Salvador and current 1,600 MMR player, walked the carpet today like a true Dota OG, because he is. Drafted by Parker for The Bot$ roster, Jacho has defied every expectation. Along with the unwavering support of his regular LAN clients and viewers, he has propelled himself to the Top 3 on the final day of the $20,000 show-match tournament "El Gran Coliseo de Benjaz". In an exclusive red-carpet interview, the man they call Wawita Sagaz reflected on a journey that spans two decades: “I started playing Dota back in 2004 with Dota 1. Back then, I competed in small tournaments for S/50 or S/100 soles. You used to spend more money commuting to the venue than what the prize pool even paid out. Nowadays, tournaments have massive prize pools. In Dota 1, I played against Smash when he was starting his career. I also faced Benjaz and Kingteka when they were still teenagers. There was Parker too, he came to my LAN events a couple of times… and every single time he showed up, he won the whole thing.” Today, the story continues... #Dota2 #Esports #SADota #PeruDota
