Hear me out. A gym membership that gets cut to half price if you go 10 (eg) times a month. Easy to track (sign in/out system) and sells the outcome - a gym habit, not the activity.

The goal of a game is to win; the purpose of a game is to have fun. In toxic games, the goals overwhelm the purpose. You can win a game by mastering it, but also feel crap by failing to see that there is a larger game whose rules you have broken in order to feel like a winner.

This is why most people consume instead of create. The artist, the writer, the creator within you died of suffocation long ago. Starved for the oxygen of empty space, silence, presence.

Guilt requires past, anxiety requires future. Regret requires past, hope requires future. Resentment requires past, worry requires future. Present moment only? No suffering. Just what is.
