Threading PolymersāBlends of polymers with microporous particles are crucial for many modern technologies, but quantifying and controlling the threading of polymers is challenging. In their recent work reported in @J_A_C_S, Kaur, DelRe, et al. propose two new strategies. One strategy utilizes NMR to directly monitor polymer chains and quantify their diffusivities. The second strategy shows that threading rates can be adjusted across at least six orders of magnitude. Read the full article:

I just won an Early Career Program award from the US Army to fund one of my projects! Weāve now raised over $2mil in external funding in the 2 years since opening my lab. Weāre excited to use this money to produce great new materials for both military and civilian applications!
