We're dedicated to helping members of the Disability, chronic illness & mental health community raise the funds they need for med expenses and to simply survive
This year we'll be running our #Crowdfunding events thru this account
And this is account will be posting all of our #ChronicLoaf community Mutual aid threads this year
This will make them easier to find any day of the week
The reason a lot of you don’t see anything wrong in one person hoarding large sums of money while people slave away and die of hunger is because you aspire to be like that also. Unfortunately, you are more likely to walk on water than to be a trillionaire.
Soccer has always been defined by free-flowing, unbroken action. But for the World Cup in America, FIFA is using “hydration breaks” to shoehorn in commercials. on.wsj.com/4oomwCq

"No matter how difficult the days become, hope remains a light that never fades. Relief may take time, but it arrives at the moment meant for us. Hold on to hope and never lose faith that better days are ahead." 🌷🤍

Hey y'all. Renewing the talk of my moving. I've tried to exist in an unsafe space for a long time. I can't any longer.
Please uplift my chuffed campaign in kind spaces. I hope to have at least half by #juneteenth.
Thank you to all who care what happens to me.

Oooh yes that's a good point. Personally I think ideally after you incur all the debt you can, so like not right before surgery. Also if you won't be able to afford your life even without all the debt I might wait
Funny how debt is forgivable when it's tied to yachts, hedge funds, or failed businesses, but suddenly becomes a character flaw when it's tied to education, healthcare, or survival.
Non-Disabled people being more offline before they've made an effort to diversify the online spaces they inhabit isn't a real solution
Asking people to spend that time online associating with people and spaces they can't find irl would be more productive. Use screen time better!
Most of us bed/housebound folks would be dead or suicidal without electronics but I guess it's okay that people treat screen time like a moral failing of some kind
Yet another societal expectation we'll fail to meet.
Love having more of those.
Yesterday while watching "Paris is burning" a queer autistic community wondered aloud if they'd have ever found their tribe in that era.
I said "Unfortunately, housebound disabled people were extremely isolated before the internet"
I wish we were considered in this discourse.
it’s kind of insane that it’s completely normal now to spend basically every waking hour looking at some kind of screen. genuinely do you think you could go a week without electronics
