I think this is a mistake. This is arguably our best player and we would do well to get half of his quality for that money, let alone an improvement.
I get we need to sell for Psr/SCR, but a top quality GK is so few and far between. Just look at Spurs, Chelsea, etc. #avfc

I would personally not sell him, never mind giving him away.
If we end up letting him go for free or anything even remotely close to that, I would be shocked and disappointed. This is still one of the best GKs in the world and he is only 33 #avfc

Considering it’s only one piece, you might be waiting for some time… please read the piece or even the one post from today. I, along with colleagues over the last few months, simply wrote a piece that so many fans are wondering about - I never said he is definitely leaving (I was the first to report Villa are intent on keeping him), just laying out the story. If you don’t like it (admittedly I wouldn’t like a key player for my team having lots of interest) then unfollow 👍
