This is why NHL needs to move forward a month. Right now the Vegas Carolina series has no hype with national media even though it has been great. If it was pushed a month earlier it would stand alone vs the first rd series in NBA. Would draw more eyes.

I’m so confused in what tampering is and what it isn’t. If they all friends and they text how does that differ from someone like Macklin and Bedard texting. I’m sure they want to play together if they friends is that bad though?

Him and Kyle joke today about the US Olympic team chat. Elliotte says "there's a lot going on out of there." and Kyle says "it's one of the more impactful group chat to ever exist."

Like obviously sucks if your a team like Detroit Ottawa Vancouver. But also as a Sharks fan I realize it exists and will exist. Look at nba. It will get bigger. Having good team culture is what prevents this. Sharks have that right now.

The bigger takeaway is that Fox appears unwilling to waive his NMC for any deal involving San Jose.
That’s worth noting because San Jose is frequently cited by fans as a trade partner when discussing potential destinations if he were to be traded.

If Sharks draft Reid at 2 it’s bc Grier and company feel he is better than Stenberg. Got to have faith in Grier, has drafted smith, Dickinson, Misa, Mack, Cherny picked up Graf and Chucky. Reid is not bad. Not Schaeffer and not ready next year but is great. Dominated wjc

Shouldn’t be about taking hawks guy bc that’s who they want. Also don’t expect to trade down. That is not an options for teams in top 10. And why would anyone trade with us if they know our best on the board is Reid and not Stenberg.

Just gonna point this out. 13/15 D who have played a game these playoffs for the #StanleyCup finalists are 6'1 or taller. The 2 guys who aren't (Gostisbehere, Walker) are both 5'11, two of the more elite puck movers/transition D in the league and both are insanely mobile/shifty. The formula isn't complicated, but keep bashing your heads against the wall demanding that small skill D are about to revolutionize the game. The ones who make it are insanely talented and will continue to remain the exception rather than the rule. #NHLDraft
