The FY 2027 budget just passed by the San Diego City Council includes major wins for traffic safety. In addition to funding two of the Vision Zero Coalition’s long standing priorities, it also restores funding to the Multi-Modal team, which was initially slated for elimination.
The motion was passed unanimously, indicating broad support for safety on the Council! Thank you to the advocates and champions on the Council for working to make San Diego a safer place to walk, bike, and roll!

One week until the Primary. Then comes the work of understanding what the results mean for land use and transpiration.

ALT To temporarily patch a flat tire, start by removing the tube from within the tire, and locate the puncture by listening for air escaping the tube.
Slightly scruff the area with a metal scruffer.
Depending on the patch kit used, some use glue or a sticky patch. Ensure it is larger than the gap.
Allow the patch to dry for at least one minute or as instructed on the patch kit.
Place the tube back in the tire and inflate.
