When he was Robin, he was a child in adults war, the sidekick who pioneered the concept of sidekick. Then the child grew up to be Titans leader and a hero of his own. In this thread i'll dissect my favourite character Dick Grayson &what it means to fly without any super power

We need the next Lego DC to be the Teen Titans and do it Legacy of the Dark Knight way. Every chapter a story about each member!!
Lego Marvel leaks beating Lego DC to a pulp.

Red Hood activated the bombs that were supposed to kill both Batman and Nightwing. Him using Joker's bombs was the cherry on top. 😩 God i miss when Jason Todd actually had good writings ( Batman #636, Under The Hood part 2 )

And this is why I have no sympathy for Jason when Dick put his ass in Arkham. Even when Winnick debuted Red Hood Jason tried to kill his brother several times, he cut ties first

"I think about when he was younger, when I was younger. It was a different time, simpler time. And I miss it, I miss those days. For that, it's hard to be around him" ( Batman #636, Under the Hood part 2 )

Batman shooting the embodiment of evil ( Darkseid ) and died by the same bullet is actually peak. Dick becoming Batman was also peak and Morrison's era was the high light of the 2000s. The entire DC universe finally felt some actual developments ( Final Crisis #6 )

Bruce clearly stated that his entire life he created moral lines that he wouldn't cross, made one exception as a last minute resort and paid the price immediately. THIS is how I would write Batman's death, by his own hands. Also DC rehired all the greatest writers alive to

You guys all know this panel singled handedly crippled the Industry with the Code of Authority. But what if I say it also created today's Big Two by killing all the non caped genres like crime, horror and romance?

Reality is funnier than you think: Wertham accused Batman of homosexuality and pedophilia => DC responded by changing the genre of Batman stories while EC comics found dead in a ditch => DC and Marvel successfully rebranded among their competitors corpses=> Now that the crime

and thriller scene is vacant Batman declared to absorb the genre, he's now "vengeance and the dark knight" => Batman became an ultra mega successful franchise while everyone else remained dead in a ditch because of the accusation that's supposed to target Batman 😭😭😭

My experience with Wolfman is like: 90% of the time he made me pop blood vessels. But when the stars aligned and he decided to be good he's just undefeatable.

Can't forget a Lonely Place of Dying, love this book. For some reasons Wolfman was a better Bat writer than Titans writer for this era 😭😭😭😭

Take this parody explanation from MAD about DC for example. The Golden, Silver, Bronze, Copper and 2000s age of Bat comics have such distinct identities despite its ups and downs meanwhile post 2010 era still struggles to find a voice ☹️
The second best era of #Batman, the Bronze Age (1970-1986), also neatly divides in two. An experimental, game-changing first half from O’Neil to Englehart. Followed by a more cohesive and continuity-driven second half with the successive runs of Wein, Wolfman, Conway, and Moench

Fraction's Batman isn't terrible, it's better than Zdarsky's at least. But now that I read Absolute Batman I feel less inclined to read mainline Batman. It's not helping that Fraction's run is the strongest proof how how lack of identity modern Batman is, "whole bunch of nothing
