Valby also crack the top ten list and moves to U.S. #9 all-time in a race she won by 23 seconds.

New Mexico’s Marion Jepngetich matches her teammate Habtom Samuel’s win from one night ago with a NCAA 5000m title of her own, crossing the line in 15:13.01.
Jepngetich was named the winner after Alabama’s Doris Lemngole was disqualified for a rules infraction.

After winning the NCAA 5000m title earlier this evening, Alabama’s Doris Lemngole has been disqualified for infraction 15.5-3g: “2 Steps on or over curb”
Alabama protested the ruling but were unsuccessful. With Lemngole’s disqualification, Marion Jepngetich of New Mexico will be the 5000m champion in 15:13.01.

After Arkansas’ men completed the same feat a night earlier, the @UGATrack women’s team collects the NCAA outdoor title to go along with the indoor title from March.
The Bulldogs scored 50 points, with 42 of them coming from the sprints and relays. Florida placed second with 43.

After finishing second to Georgia last season, the @RazorbackTFXC women reclaim their 4x400m national title with a blazing 3:18.88 performance.
It marks only the second time a collegiate quartet has broken 3:20, with the first coming from the Razorbacks’ own NCAA record run from 2024.

@USC_Track_Field claims the NCAA women’s 4x100m title, as the Women of Troy get the baton around in 41.58!
The Trojan quartet came up just .03 shy of Texas’ NCAA record set at this meet in 2023. LSU finished runner-up in 41.74, while Georgia came third in 41.89. All of the top three schools establish new program records, with the Tigers and Bulldogs both getting under 42 seconds for the first time.
