#CADrugsUse will meet with the Oireachtas Committee on Drugs Use in Room 1, explaining the 36 recommendations and telling them that the the national approach to drugs use needs to change.

I strongly welcome the Government's approval to establish a special Oireachtas Committee on the report from @CitizAssembly on Drugs. I would urge this work is concluded so that any legislative, policy and operational changes can be implemented in 2024. It's really that important.

1/2 Arising from the Final Report and Recommendations of the Citizens’ Assembly on Gender Equality the Government has now approved proposals for two referendums on 8 March 2024 which will:
• amend Article 41 of the Constitution to provide for a wider concept of Family; and
2/2 • delete Article 41.2 of the Constitution to remove text on the role of women in the home, and insert a new Article 42B to recognise family care.
