Two LGBT rights activists, @CitizenAnkit and @YuvalDavid, standing on the Tel Aviv beach where the most amazing and inspiring LGBT Pride march just happened, hundreds of thousands strong—and even supported and protected by the Israeli government. We speak about something the hypocritical and performative “Queer for Palestine” crowd refuses to admit : where exactly in Gaza or the West Bank could any LGBT ever happen? #TelAvivPride #LGBTQ #IStandWithIsrael

Carried the Indian flag through the Tel Aviv Pride Parade today and was met with so much warmth and curiosity from Israelis about India. Moments like this remind me why India-Israel friendship matters, not just at the level of governments, but person to person, heart to heart. Israel continues to be one of India’s most genuine friends in West Asia, and this relationship deserves to grow stronger. 🇮🇳 🇮🇱 🏳️‍🌈 #TelAvivPride #IndiaIsrael #PeopleToPeople @TelAviv @IsraelinIndia @israelinMumbai @Israel

Spent the morning listening to @Jonathan_Elk on Lebanon and global geopolitics, the kind of talk most analysts dance around for twenty minutes. A refreshing change from the usual conference circuit, both politically and otherwise. He’s the kind of voice that doesn’t fit anyone’s comfortable narrative. Lebanese-born, Gay, Christian, and an unapologetic defender of Israel. Stories like his remind you that belonging is rarely a straight line (pun very intended).

🇮🇱 The measure of a human being is not what they do when life is comfortable. This week I met Israel’s Deputy Foreign Minister @SharrenHaskel inside a bunker, on a day when her country was being attacked. Her first question to every delegate in the room: how can we help your community? That is not politics. That’s something closer to grace. 🏳️‍🌈 She wanted to know how Israel could support LGBTQ people and human rights around the world, even while her own people spent the early morning in shelters. 🇮🇱🇮🇳 I told her India and Israel understand each other at a level that goes beyond treaties and statements. The shared experience of cross-border terrorism is something Indians understand without needing much explanation. The meeting was in a situation room inside a bunker. The conversation was anything but bunker mentality. Thank you @IsraelMFA for making this possible.

🇺🇳 UN Charter is 80 years old this year. It was built on the specific horror of what came before it. The generation that built it is gone. The generation inheriting it has no visceral memory of what its absence costs. That generational gap is not abstract. It’s a vulnerability.

🇮🇳🏳️‍🌈 While I welcome the Congress party celebrating #PrideMonth, I do wonder, will I ever see the same from the party I voted for, the BJP? Support for dignity, liberty, and equal citizenship shouldn’t be politically selective.
This Pride Month, we reaffirm our commitment to the values of equality, dignity, and inclusion. We honour the resilience and contributions of the LGBTQ community, and stand in solidarity with their ongoing struggle for acceptance and the freedom to live with pride.

The most effective advocates I’ve seen globally are not those who preach to the converted. They’re the ones who walk into uncomfortable rooms. I vote as a full citizen and I advocate across every political line because that’s how change actually happens People lose their minds when a gay man votes BJP. Hello, I am not just Gay, I am so much more and my voting decision is reflection of that. Also, Nobody asks what Congress actually delivered. I’ll tell you: affidavits opposing marriage equality in their own governed states. My vote is more informed than most. The moment queer advocacy became synonymous with one political position, it lost half its potential allies. I refuse that bargain. I engage every political space because Indic philosophy itself teaches that dialogue, not boycott, produces transformatio

🇮🇳 The “values-free India” critique is lazy analysis. Strategic autonomy is not moral vacancy. India might be the most values-consistent major power right now. The US has abandoned multilateralism under Trump. China weaponises norms. Europe moralises without capacity. India’s values - strategic autonomy, civilizational pluralism and Global South solidarity are ones it actually practices. Are they the right values? Debate that. But “values-free”? That’s the laziest read of Indian foreign policy available.
India operates in a values-free environment. Prove me wrong. aljazeera.com/news/2026/6/1/…

🇮🇳 Fifteen countries. Twelve Western. Two East Asian democracies. And India. The only nation on this list with no alliance treaty, no collective defence obligation, no Article 5 to invoke. Just strategic weight too large to ignore.

Quick takes: — Deal closing this month? Yes. — Hormuz returning to pre-crisis status? No. The diplomacy and the strait are running on separate clocks.

🇵🇰 Pakistan claiming the Indus Valley Civilization is like a guy disowning his parents for decades, changing his entire identity to impress the other neighbors, and then showing up demanding inheritance rights. 😭 Most Mature Harappan sites are in India anyway but somehow the people desperate to be seen as ‘sons of Arabia’ suddenly become hardcore Indus enthusiasts when civilizational prestige is involved.
Hilarious. Seems like the Modi regime is genuinely existentially freaked out about Pakistan's legitimate claims to the Indus Valley civilization. Propose we change Pakistan's name to the Islamic Indus Valley Republic of Pakistan just to ragebait the Gangetic Sanghis.

“Civilizational inheritance is not just about geography or ruins, it is defined by living customs, symbols, rituals, and unbroken cultural consciousness. India is the enduring living continuity of the Indus-Saraswati Civilization.”
This 4,500-year-old terracotta dice from the Indus-Saraswati Civilization is a powerful reminder of India’s living heritage. Dicing is also mentioned as a popular game in Rig and Atharva Vedas (two of the four sacred Vedic scriptures). From symbols and craftsmanship to rituals, yogic practices, and collective memory, numerous elements of ancient Indian civilization continue to thrive in the daily social and religious life of Indian society across regions and communities. Civilizational inheritance is not just about geography or ruins, it is defined by living customs, symbols, rituals, and unbroken cultural consciousness. India is the enduring living continuity of the Indus-Saraswati Civilization. #IndusSaraswatiCivilization #AncientIndianHeritage
