I had trouble moving Citrix NetScaler WAF profiles from test to production (and renaming objects at the same time), as I had to rename objects - which is not possible. That's how I did it norz.at/?p=2364

A NetScaler security issue had been published today. It is possible to execute remote commands on a NetScaler, if it is either SAML IDP or SP.

Why do we need a Citrix ADC in front of a database server?
That's a pretty good example of a SQL injection attack. SQL injections are everywhere, not just on places you're aware off :)
A responder policy denying drop, delete, truncate and some more would have solved the problem

Citrix to be Acquired by Affiliates of Vista Equity Partners and Evergreen Coast Capital for $16.5 Billion. Citrix will continue to work with partners. The time frame is the middle of the year.

#CVE_2021_44228 #Log4j #Citrix provides mitigation: Just add a #WAF profile with signatures 999077-80 to your load-balancing vServer on your #Citrix_ADC #NetScaler. That's it, your apps are in a save state!

Suddenly, out of the blue, my Citrix ADC stopped routing (which is necessary for me, as I use it as a gateway for my mail server). Reason: latest 13.0 firmware version. Downdating solved my issue.

Citrix gateway is pretty secure. But customers always want some more security nowadays. Citrix ADC has everything we need. However, it's not that easy, as we can't bind these policies. I managed to get it up and running. That's how: HTTPS://norz.at/?p=1985
