A NetScaler security issue had been published today. It is possible to execute remote commands on a NetScaler, if it is either SAML IDP or SP.

Why do we need a Citrix ADC in front of a database server?
That's a pretty good example of a SQL injection attack. SQL injections are everywhere, not just on places you're aware off :)
A responder policy denying drop, delete, truncate and some more would have solved the problem

Suddenly, out of the blue, my Citrix ADC stopped routing (which is necessary for me, as I use it as a gateway for my mail server). Reason: latest 13.0 firmware version. Downdating solved my issue.
Citrix gateway is pretty secure. But customers always want some more security nowadays. Citrix ADC has everything we need. However, it's not that easy, as we can't bind these policies. I managed to get it up and running. That's how: HTTPS://norz.at/?p=1985
