This is like when my friend from England came to Chicago's pride parade this summer and was like "I can't believe I haven't heard Bronski Beat once!"
Robbie Williams having zero impact in the us while being one of the uks biggest stars is so crazy. the club would always play angels as the final song of the night and everybody would be singing along while the study abroad kids stood on the side like this 🧍♂️🧍♀️🧍

I've got a new quarterly film program starting next year at Facets! Having bands at trivia night was such a hit that theyre giving me a dedicated Friday night punk movie live band series starting January. Just in time to ruin Facets 50th anniversary.

Scene Report: The ltd ed Front 242 beer is pretty good. Its not Old Style but its not not Old Style. Very Chicago. Obvs shoula been a Belgian but it turned out thatd be too expensive to make so they did the best they could while still making it affordable. Even more Chicago.
