A recent Executive Order marks a notable change in federal homelessness policy, moving from a housing-first and harm-reduction emphasis toward methods that incorporate treatment, recovery, public safety, and outcome-driven accountability.
We will closely monitor the implementation of these changes, assess their impact on member ministries, and provide timely updates that help Citygate Network leaders navigate developments effectively.
The order has drawn attention across the sector for its potential to influence service delivery models and funding priorities. Citygate Network has prayerfully developed a position statement in collaboration with and input from several members.
