Coker Rd from Kelly Rd to Rice Bay will be closed tomorrow, May 9, due to rising water levels on Black Sturgeon Lake. The closure affects all vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Once water levels decrease, the road will be inspected before reopening. kenora.ca/en/news/coker-road…

The wildland fire hazard is extreme across most of the Northwest Region. Forested areas are extremely dry, and multiple fires are occurring daily. Many fires are human-caused, and those responsible will be held accountable. More info here: ontario.ca/page/how-prevent-…

Please be advised that the water main break on Norman Drive has been fully repaired by our crews overnight. Norman Drive and the surrounding roads are now open to traffic. The Precautionary Boil Water Advisory shall remain in effect until a notice of rescind is issued.
