We're making parking in the City easier than ever 🚗 A major upgrade of the City of Perth’s 12 boom-gated car parks is now underway to deliver a faster, more convenient parking experience. All car parks will be equipped with Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) and the option to pay-at-the-exit. The upgrades will make it easier to park in the City, supporting a vibrant and accessible city centre. The first upgrade has now been completed at Mayfair Street Car Park in West Perth. The HBF Run for a Reason will be held on Sunday 24 May 2026, starting from 6:35am on William Street in the Perth CBD, with three courses finishing at Gloucester Park in East Perth. Road closures will be in place for the HBF Run for a Reason, with William Street closed from 11pm Sat 23 May and additional closures from 4am on event day. Parking restrictions and towing may apply.
