On the 4th of December in 1865, Edith Cavell was born. 153 years later on her birthday, we remember her legacy as a British nurse, brave leader, and wartime hero. We continue to honour her values by caring for nursing and midwifery staff today. Happy birthday Edith! 🎂

Learning Disability Nurses Day is our chance to shine a light on the important care being delivered by Scotland's LD nurses. Only fitting to remind everyone of our 2022 LD Award winner Laura who we showcased on Nurses' Day this year.

"It sounds weird to say I'm as happy as I've ever been in my life." Simon Boas, whose essay in the Jersey Evening Post went viral, explains how his career as an aid worker helped him come to terms with his own terminal cancer diagnosis aged 46. #R4Today
