Attenzione, popolo di Roma! I'm honoured that a retrospective of my films is happening this summer at the amazing 'Il Cinema in Piazza'. From June to July they will screen six of my movies under the stars in one of the world's greatest cities for cinema. ilcinemainpiazza.it The season kicks off at Monte Ciocci with 'Shaun of the Dead' on June 10, followed by 'Hot Fuzz' on June 17 and 'The World's End' on June 24. All three screenings start at and are free admission with no reservation required. The retrospective then moves to incredible @cinematroisi, where Scott Pilgrim vs. The World screens on June 28 at , followed by The Running Man on July 5 at . The season concludes back outdoors at Monte Ciocci with 'Last Night in Soho' on July 11. Italian cinema has been a huge influence on me and so it fills my heart to be part of this beautiful programme. If you're in Rome this summer, I hope you can come along and see my films on the big screen. Grazie mille to everyone at 'Il Cinema in Piazza', @piccoloamerica, @cinematroisi for this honour, and to all the Italian film fans who have supported my work over the years. Ci vediamo al cinema!

I really enjoyed 'Backrooms'. Imaginative, hypnotic and cryptic in a purely pleasurable way. Saw it with a full house, 9pm on a Sunday night. It's different from 'The Blair Witch Project' but I was reminded of seeing that film on its opening weekend and, similarly, how you could hear a pin drop in a packed house. Great to see young filmmakers and new horror movies keeping the big-screen experience in rude health. Bring it on.

Did I cry a little recording this episode? Yes. Did I tear up even more when editing it? Also yes. Respect to Wil for being so open with his emotions in the wake of Rob Reiner’s untimely death and the Oscars tribute.
Wil Wheaton returns to talk about his new audiobook narration of The Body, the 40th Anniversary of Stand By Me, his personal King fandom, and the impact the late, great Rob Reiner had on his life. Fair warning: this one gets emotional right out of the gate.

Today is the last chance to order The Thing Expanded and have your name in the credits. It has been an extraordinary journey, and I could not be prouder of the film we have made. This is the story I wanted to tell. The story of a science-fiction masterpiece. Or horror.
