Feline friends rescued!
@ClarkCountyFD responded to an apartment fire near Flamingo & Cambridge. Quick action had the fire under control within 10 minutes. The building was evacuated - firefighters brought these 2 cats to safety. One person was transported for smoke inhalation.

The @ClarkCountyFD's EMS-18 has became the first fire apparatus in Nevada to carry whole blood for the treatment of severe bleeding in the field. Rapid access to whole blood is shown to significantly improve survival rates. This program is an approved @SNHDinfo protocol trial.

Expanding our first responder presence in east Las #Vegas. Cmsr. @tsegerblom and @ClarkCountyFD held a groundbreaking for Station #62. It will be near Harmon & Nellis.
Opening is set for next year. This is the first new fire station being built on the east side in over 20 years.

New AEGIS baby medical wraps help EMS teams keep mothers and newborns together if ambulance transport is necessary. The wraps promote bonding, and crash-tested protection in the first moments of life.
