Trying to incorporate kinesthetic math activities this year. When learning to compare and order decimals, my students pulled random number cards and places themselves in order from L to G. Loved that they were able to correct themselves without teacher feedback

The 7s were having trouble with surface area, so we did a quick build with self closing cubes in #hawksmakerspace. Showed that the surface area does not change when the net becomes a 3D shape.

Schools are for education, NOT indoctrination. We must reform curriculum, get kids back to the basics of learning, and empower parents to choose the best school for their child through education freedom.
