One thing in Disclosure Day that I loved was that they handled remote viewing in a way no movie really has, or maybe even attempted. Presenting the ability as not something mystical or psychic but rather as alien technology. Maybe that's why there are basically no decent movies (or - any?) about remote viewing because on it's face is a ridiculous concept. But it was presented here in a completely buyable manner. Previously it was confined mostly to B-movies and weird Stargate episodes. Here it informs a large portion of the plot and never gets silly.

Close Encounters, E.T. and Disclosure Day are almost a trilogy for Steven Spielberg. They could all be set in the same fictional earth with the same alien race. Hoping there's a follow up because the questions left unanswered at the end of Disclosure Day would certainly be interesting to examine.

Steven Spielberg remains the undisputed master of film, even at 80. Disclosure Day is 10/10. Listen.

8/10. Hit all the high notes. Score was f****** epic and the jokes landed pretty good. Skeletor was hilarious. Stay after the first credits and the second for two post-credit scenes.
Gonna go see He-Man at 4 and then see if I can sneak into Disclosure Day at 7. Will report back.

Also, apparently now it's impossible to sneak into a free movie at an AMC theater because they removed all the names and showtimes from the Marquee above the doors.

No idea who needs to hear this but Pirates of Penzance is coming to Kansas City in February. This could be a once in a lifetime experience if you don't regularly leave the state to attend theatrical productions. A Gilbert & Sullivan masterpiece! kcopera.org/event/the-pirate…

Megaton Jr. had a toe tap touchdown in the back of the end zone at mini camp during 7 on 7 yesterday. Jeff Caldwell has started his ascent to the Hall of Fame with a fantastic catch.

Took forever but someone finally sussed it out. Trick question. Punter Daniel Pope. x.com/DaveSin94685521/status…

Well, that’s a picture from 1999, the Chiefs 35th season in Kansas City, as the patch on the right chest illustrates. #13 that year was punter Daniel Pope.
