#RecoveryIsPossible
PTSD is often misunderstood. It can affect anyone, and symptoms may appear right after a traumatic event or much later. Healing is possible with support.
Help reduce stigma by:
• Learning the signs
• Listening without judgment
• Supporting access to care
Did you know Cleveland has a network of air quality sensors across the city?

• 16 walks at different locations across Cleveland
• Free and open to all abilities
• Participants receive a T-shirt and resource bag
• Restrooms available at every location
This week’s walk is Wednesday, June 10 at 9:00 a.m. at Frederick Douglass Recreation Center.

June 5 is HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day. #HLTSAD
First observed in 2014, it’s a day to honor long-term survivors of HIV and raise awareness about their needs, issues, and journeys.
Have you noticed unusual odors in your neighborhood? Do you feel that air quality may be affecting your health or quality of life?
We want to hear from you. Your experiences can help the Division of Air Quality better understand how air quality impacts our communities and health
If you or someone you know struggles with substance use, you can lower your risk for overdose by:
- Never using alone
- Using test strips for Medetomidine, Fentanyl, and Xylazine
- Not mixing substances
- Taking less
Remember: Treatment is available, and recovery is possible! Call the Office of Mental Health and Addiction Recovery at 216.664.3891 for help today!

PTSD can happen after someone goes through something scary or a stressful experience.
It can also develop over time when people face challenges every day, like violence, unsafe housing, poverty, and not having access to the resources they need.
These challenges can affect our mental health, physical health, and quality of life.
💙💚 Safe and healthy neighborhoods help people heal and can reduce trauma in the future.
📢 Cleveland, we all have a role to play because healing takes a community.
