SB 163 is a proposed bill that would reduce government fees for individuals applying for petition-based expungement through organizations that are working to help low-income applicants. 1/3

We are supportive of this bill and anticipate it to be heard this week. While it does not eliminate fees for all expungement applicants, this is a positive step toward providing better access to expungement for qualifying individuals that otherwise could not afford it. 2/3

Healing is not a linear process, and no one is ever fully healed. It's more like an ascending spiral, where you revisit past experiences to comfort your past self and continue to grow. Remember, you don't have to be "fully healed" to deserve love or move on in life.
