He said, “She knows she has her back up against the wall and she has nowhere to go,” in regards to the tailings spills and environmental damages from the oil industry up the river. Today in 1969, homosexuality is decriminalized with the passing of the Criminal Law Amendment Act. Introduced in 1967 by Justice Minister Pierre Trudeau, it also amends the law on abortions and gun possession, while creating new offences for animal cruelty & impaired driving.
