At #clerkenwellgreen #ec1 on the boarded up toilets there has been yet another intervention by the artist #shanksy -this time a clever quotation of the secretive Bristolian’s most venerated work girl with balloons. Any comment @IslingtonBC on the shuttered lavvy-cum-art gallery?

Anyone know anything about this? @IanVisits @IslingtonTrib @EC1Echo @islingtongztte
Excellent street art at Clerkenwell Green. On the king-standing hoardings surrounding the toilets. A possible @banksy ? Not sure.

This is one of a series of four shots submitted by Graeme Weston. “With fervour and affection, Anglo-Italians sing the British national anthem, concluding the Italian club’s weekly Thursday afternoon dinner dance.” If anyone knows @GiuliaCrouch -tell her about tonight. Quick!
Calling @GiuliaCrouch ! We LOVED your article about Clerkenwell’s Italian community. There are some shots in our exhibition we’d love you to see. But today is the last day. Fancy coming to our awards do and announcement tonight? Send a DM or email. theguardian.com/uk-news/arti…

‘Beautiful Clerkenwell Green’ We love these cheeky shots from A. Shanks: 'A series showing historic buildings that can almost be seen from Clerkenwell Green.' Old Sessions House, St James Church, The Crown Tavern. A dig at the infamous hoardings surrounding the Victorian toilets?
