🎉We are pleased to announce that Uma Kumaran MP has been elected as the new chair of the Climate Change APPG. We look forward to working with @Uma_Kumaran and the APPG's members to push for climate action to go further and faster ⚡️
Thank you to cross-party colleagues for electing me as Chair of the Climate APPG today @ClimateAPPG   Before I was elected I worked globally to advance climate action. I promised that my commitment would continue from Parliament Denying the science was once a preserve of the fringes, but more and more we are seeing it politicised We must push back and keep advancing. Bolder climate action helps our economy, tackles a leading cause of migration and helps protect our planet for generations to come🌍
