Deadly new directive from Taliban leader (pictured) bans women’s health training leaving them w/out midwives or female health workers. Male doctors banned from treating women &female workers can’t be trained.This erases women’s access to healthcare & is a death sentence to women.

Thank you to the brilliant @shanerecord for a magical session on the Leas - across two hours we saw a familiar scene appear on the giant board, only to be transformed as the climate was… Lots of people stopped to watch & some good conversations about acting on the climate 💚

I can’t even begin to describe what an indictment of the BBC & possibly of the studio audience & also of our civilisation itself it is that this final Prime Ministerial debate, at a moment when the world is reeling from extreme heat 🥵, has seen NO questions on climate & nature.
