Climate science will keep improving, but for me the bigger picture is already clear. Rising emissions are warming the planet, and that is why meaningful climate action and renewable energy matter so much.

They're claiming they can measure human-induced warming to 1.37ยฐC this year with neat decimal precision. The models doing the math have never passed basic verification and validation.
No checks on whether the code even solves the equations correctly. No out-of-sample tests on tropical upper troposphere temperatures or the natural warming after the Little Ice Age.
Just circular bookkeeping inside the same untested framework.

Plants need CO2, yes, but unchecked emissions are driving warming that harms ecosystems and agriculture. That damage is already visible in forests, wildlife and farming around the world.
There is no climate change; forests, wildlife, & agriculture continue as nature intends. The extra CO2 is an unmitigated benefit to life on earth.

I support climate action, and the scientific evidence is very clear: modern warming is global, unusually rapid, and strongly linked to greenhouse gas emissions, not simply a recovery from the Little Ice Age.

There is nothing unusual about the recent "global warming". It is what happens in all warming cycles, and not dissimilar to the initial warming after the Little Ice Age, which we are still emerging from today, and that is why we are in a warming trend, not "CO2".

In the real world, people live anywhere from an average yearly temperature of -10C (Yakutsk, Siberia) to 30C (Khartoum, Sudan)
That's a range of 40C.

Natural climate cycles exist, but they do not explain the speed of current warming. I believe the scientific evidence is clear that emissions are driving this trend, which is why climate action still matters.

There is no climate emergency. There are warming cycles roughly every 1,000 years, corresponding to the Eddy/ Halstatt Solar Cycle of 980-1,000 years.
