Abilites Received a Major Overhaul in
#Madden27
I always thought the tiered abilities in CFB were better than they were in Madden - and now that’s changed.
Don’t be fooled though, there’s more variety to this than you think. It’s not a pure scalar like it is in CFB which builds directly on the original ability.
Here are a couple examples to explain:
Lurker gives you jumping swats/picks (bronze), adds near guaranteed tip picks (silver), then stacks on pick artist (gold).
Enforcer will increase hit-sick success (bronze), stack on increasing the forgiveness of the timing window (silver) then stack on increased fumble chance (gold).
If you’re a little confused, this overhaul operates in a similar way to stacked abilities in M26. Think Lurk Artist (pick artist lurker), Enforcer Supreme (enforcer, deflator , demoralizer) and Master Tac (QB Playmaker Conductor).
This looks to consolidate abilities at a much larger scale while lending itself in helping superstars truly feel like they’re supposed to with high end functionality only accessible to the best of the best.
