Heads up everyone - I've just noticed an uptick in potential scammers trying to connect with me - it had dropped off post a very intense period but now seems to be ramping up, I know it sounds like paranoia but be careful and don't share manuscripts unless you're sure who with.

Does anyone else feel that hollow feeling when you've finished a first draft, you think it's good (obviously) but can't share it with anyone because it needs editing - it's a sort of achievement undefined feeling.

In the UK 68% of the major news titles are owned by billionaires - here in Australia it is 70%-I don't want to add pressure to my writing peers, but we're at a point where fiction, ironically; is now the last bastion of the free press-it is the only non-controlled/partisan media
