Clitheroe Castle Museum opened in 1954 in a building adjacent to the Steward's House called the Steward's Gallery.
It had previously been a court house.
We're open every day 11am to 4pm.

Please be aware that Clitheroe market’s public car park will be closed from this evening Wednesday 7 August in preparation for Clitheroe Food Festival on Saturday 10 August.
On-street parking in New Market Street will also be affected.
