How has Frost Mage gone this long in WoW PvP without a real rework?

- Mass Invis
- 2x Ray of Frost (Highest damaging ability in the game)
- 2 methods of Invisibility
- 2x Blink stun or shimmer
- 2x Ice Block (best defensive in the game) along with alter
- 2x massive shields
- Endless roots/CC all on low cooldowns or no cooldown at all
- Spammable poly that is not on the same school as their damage
- 90% AoE slow stun
- Ice Wall still exists
You finally connect? They Cocoon themselves, invis, alter, invis again, shield again, block, blink again, root you with cooldowns that came off cooldown in the small window you had to touch them. Feels like they have 2 charges of every answer in the game.
You finally force Ice Block from the mage? He just resets the cooldown of it and is able to just press it again.
You cannot touch a frost mage if you're not a warrior, you are required to have at least 4 mobility cooldowns to spend, or an unspellable freedom to touch a frost mage once. But when u connect to them, they just coco themselves twice, go invisible, or just use one of their 20 other methods of cc or kiting that just recharged back after 10 seconds.
I really don't know why this spec has gone this long without a true look and retool of their tool kit. They literally have 2 charges of every effect in the game besides a reliable stun and MS. Completely broken spec.
Frost mage was played in every single map of every single series of AWC. Frost mage is the most represented ranged and seconds most represented spec 3v3 by a land slide.
@WarcraftDevs @Warcraft please consider a redesign for frost mage for season 2 of midnight at the least, and maybe some future nerfs to their tool kit. I don't care about their damage even if it's problematic, damage wont matter if I can't even play my character or hit the Frost mage for 90% of the game. The spec legit turns into a server admin as soon as it zones into an arena.
