About 10 yrs ago, we 'swapped' our Wed/Thur philos. 🔹 Wednes = Mental Reps 🧠 (Helmets only, no competing, all play polish & kicking) 🔹 Thurs = Fast & Physical ⚡ (Shoulder pads back on, ramping up for Friday) Why? An Olympic track coach told Chip Kelly: "The worst thing you can do the day before a meet is take the day off. Rest should be two days before, with a short, full-speed session the day before." 90% of @fastnwide coaches use this method—& they love it. An added bonus? Thursday’s practice is sharper and more positive, with fewer mental mistakes because of Wednesday’s polish.
