During the NCAA games talking to coaches is one thing if you’re TV folks, but it’s really weird taking to players at halftime. Leave them alone and let them play ball! Talk to them after the game if you want, but leave them be during!

The last two days have been so refreshing since Coach Pope has been named and he still doesn’t have a player on the roster! Cal made it so much about him and the players that the fans were totally left out and disconnected. The feeling that it’s about the program is BACK! 1/2

The excitement about being a UK fan, the passion about the program is back!I was lost in my fandom because I had forgotten the passion and drive we all had! I’m excited for the “under 30 fans” get to experience about it being about the PROGRAM! Go get ‘em Coach! We ARE UK! 👊

I think Pope has potential to be a fantastic coach. Runs great stuff (top 20 KenPom O), great locker room guy, will definitely be a personality we will all like, and has a die hard passion for the program!
My biggest concern: can he recruit at the elite level needed to win big?

My first thoughts after scratching my head….
1 - Reed is definitely coming back and Jeff was in Mitch’s ear.
2 - Mitch had way more than he wanted to deal with in Cal and his personality.
3 - Mitch wasn’t going to touch or consider ANYONE with any with baggage!
