Isaiah Sealy hurt his knee playing pick up yesterday. It is going to require surgery. We don’t know the timeline. I am disappointed for him because he has gotten so much better and spent time working on his game.

I’m really excited that Marcus wanted to join our staff. He is going to be great for our players and all of us. Can’t wait to get started!

I was asked after the game have I ever seen a comback like that. I have never seen a pro game comeback like that but Marcus Camby and I looked at each other and said UMass at West Virginia in 95. Lol

What an unbelievable night at The Garden! It’s hard to even explain the feeling in that building. Two unbelievable teams, high-level competitors and a building pulsing with emotion and passion. It was so great to see Karl, De’Aaron and Keldon, as well as two of my other great big guys - Marcus Camby and Dakari Johnson! I am so happy for my friends Leon Rose and William Wesley and the staff in New York for what they have built. I got to spend some time with all the Knicks Alums, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock but I was too nervous to introduce myself to Taylor Swift! LOL! Watching those two teams, with their guards showing incredible fight, focused on winning and and MAKING OTHERS BETTER, I couldn’t help but think about two guards in this upcoming draft who do the same things. Darius Acuff and Meleek Thomas along with Trevon Brazile are going to make a couple of franchises very happy!! CANT WAIT TO START COACHING MY TEAM!!!! Now back to recruiting!!

Just finished the first meeting with my team. I am glad, just as you are, to have Billy back on campus! This is a great group of guys who will play for one another (because thats who they are), ultra competitive, with a will to win. If we are not a great defensive team I haven’t done my job! We are physical, should be a great shot blocking team (at all 5 positions) and we have dogs! LETS GOOO

Got to catch up with some great friends at Oaklawn last night! Scott Hamby, John Dale, and Wayne Smith. We had to take a picture with Scott’s Kentucky Derby trophy when he won it with Mystic Dan! I also have to thank my friend Wayne Smith who took care of us while we were on the road for satellite camps. The hotel and spa at @OaklawnRacing are top tier!

We finished up our 5th satellite camp in central Arkansas this evening! Thank you to our partner @sonicdrivein for bringing us to Searcy!

A high school coaching icon from western PA, Vince Cortese, passed away at age 92. Quaker Valley HS was our rival yet all of us respected coach. Great coach and a true gentleman whose legacy lives on! RIP coach legacy.com/us/obituaries/nam…

I am really excited about Billy coming back and his mentality of let’s do something special. Which is what he talked to me about. I am also excited for Meleek who has had great workouts and great interviews. But so has Trevon and Darius. I think all three will be drafted in a better slot than people are projecting today! You know I will be on the phone working for all of them and I cannot wait to watch their paths!

Howard Garfinkel of five star camp fame, who gave hundreds of coaches our start, lived in this building at 65 W 55th street. Without him my life turns out very different. He passed away 10 years ago this month. Slice, Michael, and his son Sam were telling Garf stories after the game last night!

Went to Exhale spa at Thompson Hotel in NYC since I had time before flight.  All I can say is WOW!
