I never get tired of seeing these kids get recognition for their historic accomplishments! Last week they were recognized at the HCSB meeting and this week it was the HCC where they received their very own certificate of congratulations! #SMMHSsoars #SMXC

XC season is here and the #SMXC team is off to a good start! Our girls team finished 9 out of 16 teams and boys 12 out of 22. There were lots of great performances and PRs today, but the standout was 8th grader Joshua Pote winning the JV race with a time of 18:32! #SMMHSsoars

SM’s first decathlete made history today by competing in the Decathlon State Championship! Through a grueling 2 days of competition and 10 events Garrett set the school record with a score of 4535 pts! We couldn’t be more proud of you! #SMMHSSoars

Pentathlon complete! Tara scored a SB 2622pts finishing 3rd & Briley a SB 2555 finishing 6th. Jolie competed well & was just off the podium in 12th. We are on the board with 9pts towards state! These girls never cease to amaze me with their tenacity and grit!🏅🦅⛰ #SMMHSsoars

These amazing girls just won their 4th East Sectional Championship in a row! They scored a recording setting 166 pts while 2nd place was a distant 76. In doing so, they qualified a record number of athletes for the state championship! #SMMHSSoars #statebound

The SMTF team got the season started out right with some awesome performances Saturday at the Homewood Invitational! The girls 4x800 team finished 1st and lots of other athletes had personal records! I can’t wait to see how they progress this season! #SMMHSSoars #roadtostate
