I’ve seen some tooled up dudes(showcase superstars) that cant play dead in a western. I’ve also seen some dudes with average tools that always get it done. The average tools dude that always gets it done is called a “BASEBALL PLAYER”.

Three takeaways.. 1. You don’t have to be highly recruited / recruited at all to get to the next level. 2.) Some recruits are NOWHERE near their final development when being recruited. 3.) He bet on himself and worked hard.
